28th Grimsby was formed by the amalgamation of both
20th and 8th Grimsby Scout Groups
The Groups Main meeting place was the All Saints'
church hall on Heneage Rd in Grimsby but as the group
grew sections were also run at St Andrew's church
hall in Albion St at its peak the group had 2 Beaver colonies, 2 Cub
packs, 2 Scout Troops (Jutland & Vikings) and a Venture Scout
Unit (Excalibur). After the closure of All Saints the sections met
at Edward Heneage school and Ainslie St Scout hut. The pictures are from that time
